Module quality is affected by manufacturing faults, degradation, or damage occurring during transport, installation or from severe weather events. Systematic, quantitative and cost-effective solutions for large scale module quality testing in the field are therefore a requirement.
Over many years we have developed a suite of innovative solutions for daytime photoluminescence (DPL) imaging of solar systems, including within an Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) project at the world-renowned School for Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
